Join us in-person at Ironwood Church in Mesa, AZ or virtually on May 3rd.At some point in our lives, each of us will encounter difficulties in our sexual life. It might be a compulsive use of unwanted sexual behavior or a struggle to locate any sexual desire at all. No matter what sexual story you find yourself in, this conference will guide you to identify the key attachments that keep you stuck. Sexual desire issues are common, but they can also be a roadmap to healing.
Through the teaching of therapists Jay Stringer and Adam Young, you will learn:
Jay is a licensed mental health counselor, researcher, and author of the award-winning book Unwanted: How Sexual Brokenness Reveals Our Way to Healing. Unwanted is based on a research on nearly 4,000 men and women exploring the key drivers beneath unwanted sexual behaviors like the use of porn and extra-marital affairs. Stringer holds an MDiv and Master in Counseling Psychology from the Seattle School of Theology. Jay lives in New York City with his wife Heather and their two children.
Adam is a trauma therapist, and the host of The Place We Find Ourselves podcast. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, with his wife Caroline and two children. Adam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master degree in Social Work (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Divinity (Emory University). Adam has completed extensive training with The Allender Center, and is certified in EMDR. Adam enjoys mountain biking, skiing, soccer, and painting (canvas, not houses).

Sheila Wray Gregoire is the author of twelve books including The Great Sex Rescue and is the founder of Bare Marriage. An award-winning writer, Sheila calls the church to more than just pat answers by conducting original research to find out what advice works–and what really doesn’t. Sheila and her husband Keith have been married for over 30 years. Together they have two adult daughters, one son in heaven, two sons-in-law, and two adorable grandchildren. And Sheila knits. Even in line at the grocery store.
